As the open-air season draws to a close (or, as some would call it, the food truck season), Alle Farben wraps up a summer full of epic performances. From his unforgettable sets at Pacha Ibiza, Nature One, and Parookaville – where he also delivered the official “PAROOKAVILLE 2024 Anthem” – the Berlin-based DJ/producer is now gearing up for the next chapter. And what better way to mark the transition from outdoor festivals to packed clubs than with a brand-new single? Hot on the heels of his explosive rework of Mando Diao’s “Gonna Dance With Somebody,” Alle Farben presents “Call My Name,” a new original song featuring the powerhouse vocals of Norwegian artist Sofiloud.
Sofiloud’s voice is a force to be reckoned with – its operatic strength not only complements Alle Farben’s bold production but amplifies the drama that unfolds within the track itself. The story told in “Call My Name” is as intense as any stage play, capturing the perilous allure of a love that’s as dangerous as it is irresistible. “When u call my name / Got the devils touch / Know I can’t escape / Feels so dangerous,” Sofiloud sings, recounting the twists of a love affair where passion, lust, and deception intertwine. “If I go insane / It was all for love,” she admits, fully ensnared by a relationship teetering on the edge of madness.
This is no ordinary love song. It’s a modern-day fairy tale – a collision of good and evil, love and betrayal, head versus heart – set to a soundtrack that evolves from haunting, arpeggiated harp chords into a club-ready anthem. Alle Farben’s production shifts gears effortlessly, from atmospheric soundscapes to pulsating basslines and driving drums, while synthpop-inspired melodies inject the track with energy fit for the dancefloor. This isn’t the medieval era, and it certainly isn’t an opera stage – it’s peak time at the club, and the indoor season is just getting started.
